Meet our Graduates of the Intermediate and Intermediate Plus Teacher Training Program from The Pilates Center, Boulder, Colorado.
From IT professionals, food & beverage specialists, hoteliers, fitness & wellbeing consultants, stay-at-home moms to college students, they come from diverse backgrounds and walks of life, with just one common goal to elevate their Pilates practice.
Compassion, sensitivity to individual capabilities and a focus on holistic wellbeing – these are a few of the many attributes that we look for before enrolling a Trainee into our Teacher Training Program.
We believe that teaching Classical Pilates warrants much more than being a ‘fitness instructor’. One needs to appreciate the body, mind and spirit connect and understand that the skills and exercises are designed to heal and restore; not just contribute on the physical aspects.
Our TTP Trainees are required to get hands-on practice in teaching clients which is an integral part of the internship hours. These Internship Hours include observations, practice teaching, personal workouts, lessons and lectures, and are mandatory to complete the certification with us.
All trainees are placed under the mentorship of Kavita Prakash, Licensed Teacher Trainer. They are required to successfully clear all written, performance and practical exams, part of the program. Post this, they intern at the Pilates for Wellbeing Studio and then receive The Pilates Center Intermediate Teacher Training Program Diploma.
Through this program, one can expect to get fit mindfully and also extend that passion to support and heal others in their journey towards holistic wellbeing.
If like them, you too have a penchant for movement and wellbeing, empower yourself with a life-long tool of becoming a certified Classical Pilates Teacher.
